What is elder abuse?

A single or repeated act of inappropriate action towards an elderly person
An abuse of power which causes harm or distress to an older person
Occurs within a relationship where there is an expectation of trust but actually causes harm or distress to an older person
Can be physical, emotional, sexual and financial
Maybe intended or unintended neglect
