Immunization

Immunization programs prevent many different infectious and communicable diseases. Vaccines are a safe way to protect people against diseases that are still circulating in the world today. The Middlesex-London Health Unit advocates for all healthcare providers to follow the Ontario Immunization Schedule and provides vaccines at the Health Unit's Immunization Clinic and through school clinics in London and Middlesex County.

Have you received a letter from the Middlesex-London Health Unit because your child’s immunization record is incomplete or out-of-date?
For some families, this will mean sending their child’s immunization record to the Health Unit; for others, it will mean taking the child to a healthcare provider to receive any overdue vaccines. Learn more →

Regular immunizations remain important and essential
Contact your health care provider to book an appointment. If you have questions about immunizations, please call 519-663-5317 to speak with a Public Health Nurse.
