Active at Work? Part 2...it matters more than you think!

Join us for an engaging workshop with Dr. Michael Rouse, Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University, Dr. Shauna Burke, School of Health Studies, Western University and Middlesex London Health Unit Program Area Experts.

This workshop will finally provide the answers to the questions employers have around the effectiveness and benefits of wellness programs and whether or not there is an actual return on investment. The workshop will also provide you with an opportunity to make connections with staff from the Middlesex-London Health Unit who can provide the free support you need for your workplace wellness efforts in your organization.

Presentations

  • Dr. Michael Rouse from the Ivey School of Business will present the findings from the Sun Life Ivey Canadian Wellness Return on Investment (ROI) Study.
  • Dr. Shauna Burke from the School of Health Studies, Western University will present her research on the importance of “Groups” in the promotion of Physical Activity in your Workplace Wellness Programs. Her research speaks to the importance of finding ways for your employees to be physically active at work as the prime way to increase employee productivity and engagement and the company’s bottom line.
  • After lunch, stay with us to hear a series of short presentations from Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) program staff that will highlight the resources, presentations and displays that that are available to workplaces free of charge through the Health at Work 4 All! program.
