London, ON – The Cold Weather Alert issued by the Medical Officer of Health on Friday, January 30th has now been terminated. Current outdoor temperatures and those forecast by Environment Canada for this evening and tomorrow are above the -15C threshold used by the Health Unit to issue a Cold Weather Alert.

Please note that the extreme cold is expected to return on tomorrow evening, which will lead to the season’s fifth Cold Weather Alert.

The Middlesex-London Health Unit thanks all members of the Extreme Temperature Network and those agencies and facilities who observed the Cold Weather Alert for their diligence in providing service during this time.
