The Middlesex-London Health Unit is hosting a free, public screening of Milk…Born Into This World on Tuesday, November 29th at 5:30 p.m., at the London Central Library’s Wolf Performance Hall. The documentary film, by award-winning Director and Producer Noemi Weis, examines matters related to birth and infant feeding around the globe, including the politics, controversies and commercialization that often accompany these issues. In addition to her directing and producing credits, Weis is also the founder of international film production company Filmblanc Inc.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion, that includes Ms. Weis.
While admission is free, those who plan to attend are encouraged to visit the Health Unit’s website at www.healthunit.com and click on the “hot topic” link on the front page.
Please note: Tuesday’s presentation of Milk will be preceded by light refreshments at 5:00 p.m. immediately outside Wolf Performance Hall, where there will also be several displays and information about child birth and infant feeding.
