Thank you for facilitating #Food4Thought in your school. As a program facilitator, you are a vital ingredient and our biggest asset. Your commitment to this program is very important to us. We appreciate the contribution that you are making in providing a safe space for students to build relationships with their peers and caring adults in the school community. All of the information needed to facilitate the #Food4Thought Program is available below.
Program Overview
#Food4Thought allows students to come together, prepare a meal, and share what they have prepared with their peers and caring adults. Most importantly, while students are sharing the meal, it provides an opportunity to have a conversation around topics that related to school connectedness.
#Food4Thought Program Details:
- Suitable for students in grade 7+ that would benefit from connecting with peers and a trusted adult in the school community
- Four sessions that follow a Cook, Eat, Chat model
- All recipes are either prepared in a skillet or do not require heat to prepare. No kitchen required
- The comprehensive facilitator's guide includes recipes, shopping lists, chat session topic areas, activities, and all other essential information needed to successfully lead the program

All the recipes used in the program are found in the cookbook. Please print out a cookbook for all participants in the program.
