The hours of operation and the days that COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinics will be open, will be changing starting next week. As of Monday, March 14th, the vaccination clinic at the Caradoc Community Centre in Mount Brydges will be open Mondays through Wednesdays, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Changes at the Middlesex-London Health Unit’s (MLHU) other COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Clinic will come into effect later this month. As of March 29th, the clinic at the Western Fair District Agriplex will move to a five-day-a-week schedule and will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please note: The vaccination clinic at Western Fair District Agriplex will be closed Sunday, March 27 and Monday, March 28.
The Health Unit has already adjusted it’s COVID-19 vaccination appointment booking website in order to prevent appointments from being booked when the clinic is not open, however the change in hours and days of operation is important for those seeking a vaccination on a walk-in basis. For several weeks, individuals have been able to simply visit a COVID-19 vaccination clinic without an appointment and ask to receive the vaccine in order to get protected.
In addition to the two mass vaccination clinics operated by the MLHU, the COVID-19 vaccine is also available through Community Hub COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, as well as through pharmacies and some local healthcare providers.
The Health Unit continues to recommend getting vaccinated as a safe and effective way to prevent COVID-19 and limit potentially negative health outcomes from the virus.
