Repair Work to Be Conducted On Parkhill Water Reservoir Next Week

Posted by on

London, ON – The Parkhill Reservoir, part of the water distribution system for the Municipality of North Middlesex serving Parkhill, West Williams, Adelaide-Metcalfe and a portion of Thedford in the Municipality of Lambton Shores, will undergo maintenance and repair work, starting Monday, August 17.

The action is necessary after the discovery of minor leaks found during a recent routine inspection of the reservoir, which require repairs in order to maintain the long-term quality of municipal drinking water. This work will not affect the supply of water to homes or businesses, nor will it affect water safety. The municipal drinking water will be monitored to ensure its ongoing quality throughout the repair period, which is expected to take up to two days.

The Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, the Municipality of North Middlesex, the Middlesex-London Health Unit and the Ontario Clean Water Agency are working collaboratively on this matter to ensure the ongoing quality and safety of the municipal drinking water.
